Colorectal (bowel) cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed and third most common cause of death for both men and women in Scotland.

It is estimated that 1 in 16 men and 1 in 20 women develop bowel cancer during their lifetime and just over 60% of people survive to 5 years after the diagnosis.

The key to a successful treatment is to detect bowel cancer at early stage.
