We offer a full range of general elective and emergency upper gastrointestinal surgery. LocationWe are based in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Beds are located in Wards 106 and 107.There are now a total of 77 beds, shared by all general surgeons. Team members Our team consists of consultant surgeons, surgical trainees and clinical nurse specialists. Services We have particular expertise in several areas, including oesophago-gastric cancer, bariatric surgery, benign upper GI surgery and complex abdominal wall surgery.
