Susan Morrow

Appointments and Activities 

Susan is a Senior Lecturer in the Edinburgh Medical School. Since her appointment in 2020, Susan led the strategic re-development and delivery of the Surgical Sciences postgraduate online programme before moving to the development, validation and delivery of the Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Surgery postgraduate online programme.

Susan is also Quality Assurance Director for the Edinburgh Medical School and Co-Director of Research Ethics for the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine

Susan completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, with a BSc in Pharmacology and a PhD in Molecular Biology. Prior to joining Clinical Surgery, Susan spent over 15 years working in clinical and applied health research with Astra, Napp, Quintiles and the University of Edinburgh. She has also worked as an NHS midwife and as a lecturer during a 3 year stay in the US.
