Appointments and Activities Mr Chalmers is Director of the Scottish National Service for Thoraco-abdominal Aneurysm Surgery. His early surgical training was gained in South East Scotland prior to a research fellowship in the United States and he completed Senior Registrar training at St Mary’s Hospital, London. He has published over 80 journal articles and 22 book chapters.
